Hunter Export Centre

Supported by the NSW Government through the Department of State & Regional Development, the Hunter Export Centre (HEC) is a local business led organisation with an exceptional record of representing and assisting small to medium enterprises with export potential, to trade on international markets, going all the way back to 1995.

The HEC is unique in that it is run by experienced exporters and business operators.  The HEC assists its members with export planning, export based training courses, access to business experts in various fields,  trade missions and market visit support, an introduction to government funding, networking opportunities, newsletters, an interactive website and access to information on export related issue.

Through its unified voice, the Hunter Export Centre has established strong links with business, academia and government to become the voice of the local exporters. Hunter Export Centre’s leadership role in assisting exporters has resulted in strong business growth for our members, exposure to world markets, and accumulation of exporting knowledge for both established exporters and organisations contemplating export.
