What is the Hunter Export Centre?

The Hunter Export Centre (HEC) is a local business led organisation with an exceptional record of representing and assisting small to medium enterprises with export potential, to trade on international markets.

The HEC commenced operations in 1995 and serves a number of Hunter companies that are exporting to around 45 countries. It is supported by the NSW Government (Department of State & Regional Development).

The HEC is unique in that it is run by experienced exporters and business operators. Through a unified voice, the HEC has established strong links with business, academia and government. It has taken a leadership role, which has provided strong business growth for members, exposure to world markets, and an accumulation of exporting knowledge for both established exporters and organisations contemplating export.

The HEC implements strategies designed to foster a supportive export environment, enhancing the trade capabilities of the region. It fosters links for world trade and can assist national and international firms in accessing products and services offered by exporters based in the Hunter Region.

If you are committed to exporting, the Export Centre is here to help you to realise your goal.
